It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 20th July 2023, of Mr John Maxey, Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Willie and Joan, Mr Maxey sadly passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Naas General Hospital.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his devoted family; partner Theresa, son Nigel, daughter Orla, grandchildren Conor and Claire, daughter-in-law Sarah, son-in-law Corey, Theresa’s family, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Maxey will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday afternoon, July 22nd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St. Joseph & St. Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles, on Sunday morning, July 23rd at 9:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
