It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 6th March 2023, of Mrs Joan Fitzgerald (née Ceaser), Bohervaroon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Pat and infant daughter Siobhán; Mrs Fitzgerald passed away peacefully, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted and sorrowfully missed by her five sons Jim, Tom, Paud, John and Bill, grandchildren Siobhan, Lottie, Aislinn, Patrick, Aine, Joseph, Oscar and Harry, daughters-in-law Sandra, Erika and Leanne, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, former colleagues in nursing, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Fitzgerald will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Wednesday afternoon, March 8th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Thursday morning, March 9th at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Holycross Abbey graveyard.
