Death Of Richie Burke, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Sunday, 8th January 2023, of Mr Richard (Richie) Burke, Kilbricken, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Ballintaggart, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Ann, brothers Jim, George and Peter, sisters Lily, Mary and Kathleen; Mr Burke passed away peacefully, at his place of residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, Andy, Michael, Pat, Richard, Helen, Martin, Mary, Thomas, Ann, Brigid and Lily, brother Padge, sister Margaret (Maher), grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Burke will repose at P. Molloy & Son’s Funeral Home, West Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, on Tuesday afternoon next, January 10th, from 4:00pm, with funeral prayers at 6:00pm, before being received into the Church of the Assumption, Green Street, Callan, arriving at 7:00pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11th, at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
