It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 24th December 2022, of Mr Liam Ryan, Willowmere Drive, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of The Square, Ballyragget Co. Kilkenny.
A former Services Industrial Professional and Technical Union official (former Erin Foods); Mr Ryan passed away peacefully at his home, while in his 90th year.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his wife Mary, his children James (Australia), Paul (Waterford) Sinéad (Thurles), Ronan (Dublin), Enda (Dublin) and Liam (Cork), his daughters-in-law Fiona Whelan, Pamela Flood, Eadaoin Murphy, Norma Beechinor and his son-in-law Pat Hayes, grandchildren Ronan and Cillian, Zach, Harrison, Elsie and Gracie, Will and Seán, siblings Séamus, Maureen, Kathleen, Dónal, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Requiescat in pace.
Funeral Arrangements.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr Ryan donated his body for medical research.
His Memorial Mass will take place in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Friday morning next, December 30th, at 11:00am.
