It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 29th September 2022, of Ms Teresa (Tess) McGuigan, Butler Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Delia and John, sisters Georgina, Vera (Bannon) and Angela (Clancy), brothers Sean and Sonny; Ms McGuigan passed away peacefully, while in in her 94th year; surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Ardeen Nursing Home, Abbey Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sisters Phyllis (Brolan) and Nuala (Mason), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, brothers-in-law Jim and Tommy, extended relatives, carers, neighbours and many good friends (especially Sadie Corcoran and Mary O’Mahony).

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms McGuigan will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday evening next, October 2nd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her body will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Monday morning, October 3rd, at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will follow immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
