Death Of Liam Quinn, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday, 6th August, 2022, of Mr William (Liam) Quinn, Gortnagow House, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Nicky and Bridget, brother Richard,sister Mary, brothers-in-law Mick Minahan, Gerry Smyth, Liam Dunne and Michael Maher; Mr Quinn passed away peacefully at his place of residence surrounded by his family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Maire, family Nicky, Noel, Edel, Imelda (Ahern), Billy, Martin, John, Richard and Michael; daughters-in-law Mary, Geraldine, Dawn, Carmen, Zhanara, Patricia, Catherine and Son-in-law Gerry; his 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, brothers Michael and P.J, sisters Margaret (Maher) and Claire (Horan), brothers-in-law Dick Dunne, Tom Horan and Victor Maher; sisters-in-law Maureen, Josephine, Breda, Maureen, Angela and Ann, his many nephews and nieces, extended relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Quinn will repose at his residence on Tuesday evening, August 9th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
His body will be received into Holycross Abbey, Thurles, at 11:00am on Wednesday morning, August 10th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Mass will be followed immediately afterwards by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr Quinn, but are unable to do so; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to C-19 virus fears; those attending will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
