It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death today, Tuesday, 26th July 2022, of Mr PJ Butler, Coumnagella, Cureeney, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Kitty, his infant daughter Mary, parents Patrick and Nora, brothers Nicholas and Matthew, sisters Nora and Bridie; Mr Butler, in his 94th year, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family; while in care of staff at University Hospital, Limerick .
His passing is most deeply regretted by his daughters Nora, Mary, Kathleen, Breda and Dolores, his son Gerard, daughter-in-law Cora, sons-in-law Paudie, Seamus, Paddy and Seamus, his cherished 21 grandchildren and great grandchild, sisters Mary and Margaret, brother-in-law Ned, nieces, nephews, carers, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Butler will repose tomorrow evening Thursday, July 28th, at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon Cross, Thurles from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.
His body will be received into the Church of the Little Flower, Curreeney, Lacken, Co. Tipperary, on Friday afternoon, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 3:30pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
