It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death today, Friday, 13th May, 2022, of Mrs Nancy Gibney (née Long), Dunboyne, Co. Meath and formerly of Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Jim; Mrs Gibney passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, at her place of residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sister Mary (Fitzgerald), brother Michael, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Gibney will repose at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Dunboyne Village, Co. Meath from 5:00pm, on Sunday evening, May 15th, before being received into the Church of St. Peter and St.Paul, Main Street, Dunboyne, Co. Meath, to arrive at 7.00pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, May 16th, at 11.00am followed immediately afterwards by interment in Rooske Cemetery, Dunboyne, Co. Meath.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Gibney, but due to distance or ill health are unable to do so, same can be viewed online HERE.
