A man, aged in his 70s, has been pronounced dead, following a single vehicle collision at 4:15pm, this afternoon in the vicinity of Main Street, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary.
The road remained closed to allow for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, and local diversions were put in place.
Gardaí are now appealing for any road users who were travelling in that area this afternoon and who may have dash-camera footage; to make same available.
