It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Wednesday 10th November 2021, of Mrs Maura Shanahan (née Fitzgerald), Kingstown, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Clonora House, Glengoole, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
While in her 93rd year; Mrs Shanahan passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Roger, family Tom, John, Helen and Alma, son-in-law Ken, daughters-in-law Teresa and Caitriona, grandchildren Ciara, Liam, Dara, Daniel and Gráinne, sister Nan Dunne, brother-in-law Seamus, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Shanahan will repose at Devitt’s Funeral Home, The Green, Cashel, Co.Tipperary, tomorrow evening Friday, November 12th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her body will be received into the Church of St. John the Baptist, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Saturday, November 13th, at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Rosegreen Cemetery, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Shanahan, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; funeral Mass can be viewed online HERE.
