Death Of Celia Dunne, Late Of Thurles Co. Tipperary.

It is with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, today Friday 17th September 2021, of Mrs Julia (Celia) Dunne (Née Caplis), Goatstown, Co. Dublin and late of Hollyford, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

In her 93rd year and pre-deceased by her sister Maureen; Mrs Dunne passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Merrion Rd, Dublin 4.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving husband of 65 years, Jack, immediate loving family Conor, Gerard and Ronan, their partners Karen, Irene and Elaine, grandchildren Alistair, Charlotte, Laura, Stephen, Patrick and Sarah, great-grandson Jacob, her siblings Ailbe, Pauline, T.J., Joan and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Dunne will repose at Fanagan’s Funeral Home, 5/6 Lower Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin 14, Dublin on Monday afternoon, September 21st, between 3:00pm and 5:00pm for family and close friends only.
Her body will be received into the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum, Co. Dublin on Tuesday morning, September 22nd, to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:30am; followed by interment in Deansgrange Cemetery, 2 Dean’s Grange Road, Kill of the Grange, Dublin.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Dunne, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

Those attending the Funeral Mass are requested to enter the church before the funeral cortège arrives.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
