Death Of Ned D’arcy, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 15th September 2021, of Mr Edward (Ned) D’arcy, Shanard Avenue, Santry, Co. Dublin and formerly of Iona Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his brothers Michael, Paddy, Bill and Francis; Mr D’arcy passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at the Mater Hospital, Dublin; surrounded by his family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridget, sons Eamonn and Patrick, daughters Mary and Margaret, grandchildren Conor, Laura, Callan, David, Harrison, Lucia, Katie, Francesca, Luca and Aoibhe, brothers Sean and Gerard, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr D’arcy will repose on Saturday, September 18th at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Main Street, Finglas, Co, Dublin for family and close friends.
His body will be received into the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Rd, Glasnevin, Dublin, D09 Y925, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Monday morning, September 20th, at 10:00am; followed by interment immediately afterwards in Dardistown Cemetery, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Rd, Dardistown, Dublin, K67 HP26.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr D’arcy, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
