Confirmed Covid Cases Today On Island Of Éire Reach 3,008, With 396 Hospitalised.

The Department of Health has reported 1,408 new cases of Covid-19 today. As of 8:00am this morning, 152 Covid patients were in our hospitals, of which 26 are in ICU’s.Sadly, there have been, to date, a total of 5,035 Covid-19 deaths in the Irish Republic, since the pandemic began.

It was with the deepest regret that we learned of the death, of Mrs Breda Quinlan (née Maher), Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Glengoole, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her husband Dan (formerly Quinlan’s Pub, Glengoole); Mrs Quinlan passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Confirmed Covid Cases On Island Of Éire Reach 2,593.

The Department of Health has confirmed 1,120 new cases of Covid-19 in the RepubliC Of Ireland today, with 142 people in hospitals; some 27 of whom are in ICU’s.Irish Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tony Holohan, has strongly urged anyone eligible to register for vaccine to do so as soon as possible.
