Death Of Johnny Everard, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with the deepest regret that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 25th May 2021, of Mr John (Johnny) Everard, Everards Pub, Main Street, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his infant son Andrew and daughter-in-law Rachel; Mr Everard, in his 98th year, passed away peacefully after a short illness most bravely borne, while in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Nenagh General Hospital, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Josephine, daughter Mary (Bowe), sons, Brendan, Pearse, Sean, Conor, Diarmuid and Enda, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Everard will repose in Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore, on Thursday afternoon, May 27th, from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. [Please be mindful of social distancing and wear face coverings.]
Mr Everard will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Church Lane, Templetuohy at 8:30pm, before further reposing for Requiem Mass on Friday morning, May 28th, at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Templeree Cemetery.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr Everard, but are unable to do so due to current coronavirus pandemic restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to National Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 50 mourners), will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
