Death Of Jim Max, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It is with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death today, of Mr James (Jim) Max, Bohernamona Road, Thurles, Tipperary.

Predeceased by his son Tomás and sister Mary; Mr Max passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Cork University Hospital.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his devoted wife Peggie, daughters Mairead and Susan, grandchildren Aoife, Séan, Tomás, Páidí and Aíne, daughter-in-law Fiona, sons-in-law Fergus and Eamonn, sister Bree, nephews, nieces, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended relatives, former colleagues in Thurles Vocational School and GAA, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Max will repose for Requiem Mass, on Monday March 1st at 11:00am, attended by family only, and in accordance with current HSE and Covid-19 guidelines. Requiem Mass will be followed by private cremation.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service of Mr Max, but are unable to do so, due to current coronavirus pandemic restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to National Public Health Guidelines, regarding Covid-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 10 family members), will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
