Death Of Dr. James Connolly, Loughmore, Co. Tipperary.

It is with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death today, Wednesday 10th February 2021, of Dr. James (Seamus, Jim) Connolly, Knocknashee, Goatstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Baronstown, Loughmore, Co. Tipperary. [Chemistry Department in UCD and the State Laboratory at the Department of Agriculture in Abbotstown]

Predeceased by his eldest son John; Mr Connolly passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his wife Ann and siblings Patrick, Claire, Stephen and James, daughter-in-law Ruth, his cherished grandchildren Mark, Sarah and Fionn, sister Rena (Ormond), brother Eamonn, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbour and a wider circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Connolly will repose for Requiem Mass, at the Church Of St. Theresa, The Rise, Stillorgan, Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin, attended by family members only, on Friday morning, February 12th, at 10:00am.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Connolly, but are unable to do so, due to the current coronavirus pandemic; same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to National Public Health Guidelines, regarding Covid-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 10 family members), will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
