Death Of Fr. Enda Keenan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 2nd February 2021, of Fr. Enda Keenan, Sue Ryder Homes, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of the Parishes of Chelmsford and Hornchurch, Diocese of Brentwood, U.K..

Predeceased by his parents John and Josephine (Omagh, Co Tyrone), his sisters Una (O’Meara), Eithne and Teresa, his brother Desmond; Fr. Keenan passed away, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at South Tipperary General Hospital.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his nieces Eithne, Mary, Anne, Deirdre, Bernadette and their families, other extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Fr. Keenan will repose for Requiem Mass within Holycross Abbey, Thurles, on Friday morning, February 5th, at 11.30am. Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Fr. Keenan, but are unable to do so, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
