It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 31st January 2021, of Mrs Eileen Barry (née O’Brien), Castle Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Cloyne, Co. Cork.
Pre-deceased by her brothers Dermot, Rev. Fr. JJ [Missionary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSC)], Frank, sister Tess, daughter in law Maretta and baby grandson Francis; Mrs Barry passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by Paddy, (latter her devoted husband of 70 years), daughters Carmel (Dennehy), Mary (Vaughan), Teresa (McKeown) and Ciara (Durack), sons Joe, Tom and Pádraig, cherished grandchildren Louisa, Brian, Gerada, Anita, Joseph, James, Sinéad, Caroline, Ruth, David, Ian, Niamh, Aoife, Niall, Brian, Shauna, Aisling and Sarah, 11 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Joe, Johnny, Joe and Jerome, daughters-in-law Fiona and Susan, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Sadly, due to Government’s recent Level 5 restrictions regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral only will take place.
