Death Of Theresa Barry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It is with the greatest personal sadness and deepest regret, that I learned of the death today, Tuesday 26th January 2021, of Mrs Theresa Barry (née O’Sullivan), ‘Glenflesk’, Monadreen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Listowel, Co. Kerry.

Mrs Barry [retired primary teacher, Scoil Angela, Thurles] passed away peacefully after a short illness, while in the care of staff at Med 2 Ward, South Tipperary Regional Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her devoted and loving husband Joe, daughters Anne and Maria, cherished grandchildren Ethan, Adam, Liam and Ava, sons in law Kiran and Graham, sisters Mary and Breda, brothers Mossie and Eddie, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Jimmy, sisters-in-law Ita, Maureen, Kay and Tess, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours, past pupils and a wide circle of wonderful friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The funeral cortége, bearing the earthly remains of Mrs Barry, will leave her place of residence on Thursday morning next, January 28th, at 10.15am, to be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 10.30am, to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, attended by famiy members only.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Barry, but are unable to do so, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
