It is with a great sadness we learned of the death today, Friday 25th December 2020, of Fr. Joseph Dooley, retired parish priest of the diocese of Bathurst, Australia and formerly Seán Treacy Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary..
Predeceased by his sister Mary (Ferriter), Dublin and his brother Fr. Brendan Dooley, (latter retired former Parish Priest of Acacia Ridge, Archdiocese of Brisbane, Australia); the passing of Fr. Joseph is most deeply regretted by his retired brother Rev. Monsignor Dr. Maurice Dooley DD, Loughmore, Thurles, [former professor of Canon Law at St. Patrick’s College, Thurles, (MIC Thurles Campus)] and his sister Catherine (Loughran), Dublin.
