A man aged in his 40’s, has sadly died, while another man aged in his 60’s, was rushed to hospital, following a collision between a van and lorry on the N24 in Ballynoran, Co Tipperary, at around 7.25am this morning.
The fatally injured van driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The lorry driver aged in his 60’s, was rushed to Waterford University hospital, where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Gardaí at Clonmel in Co. Tipperary are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have any information in relation to the collision, as in dash-cam footage etc. to come forward.
