An investigation is currently underway by Gardaí and the Fire Service, into the death of man following a fire at a house in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, in the early hours of this morning.
Both services were alerted to the blaze at around 4:00am and having brought the fire under control, alas the body of a man was found inside the property, latter situated at Pintown, Cloncracken in the north of the county.
Gardaí and fire officers are trying to establish the cause of the fire and all / any circumstances surrounding the death of the man are currently being investigated.
The body of the deceased was removed to University Hospital Limerick, where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
