Death Of Nonie Cooney, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with sadness that we learned of the death on Wednesday 12th August 2020, of Mrs Nora (Nonie) Cooney (née Loughman), Kings Heath, Birmingham, England and formerly of Foilmacduff, Hollyford, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Cooney passed away peacefully, while in her 93rd year, at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sons Laurence, Patrick and Edward; daughters Bridget and Margaret; grandchildren Nicola, Sinead, Owen, Fion and Megan; great grandchildren Jude and Beatrix; sons-in-law Patrick Meenan, Dafydd Williams and Andrew Mullaney; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends on both sides of the Irish Sea.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Cooney will be received into the Church of St. Dunstan, Kings Heath, Birmingham on Thursday evening, September 3rd 2020, at 7.45pm.
Requiem Mass will take place at 11:00am on Friday morning, followed by interment in Kings Norton Cemetery Longdales Road, Birmingham, UK.

The many who would have liked to attend her funeral service, but will be unable to do so, due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, may view Requiem Mass for Mrs Cooney on a Youtube recording (Hanora Cooney Funeral Mass 4th September 2020) on the following day, Saturday September 5th, after 12.00 noon.
