The total number of Covid-19 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary; remains currently at 542, with zero cases identified over the previous 13 days.
This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been, sadly, 1 further death nationally from Covid-19, over the last 24 hours. Latest figures show the total number of deaths caused by this pandemic, is now 1,742.
A further 24 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus, bring the total number of cases here in the Irish Republic to 25,538.
Currently acting Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ronan Glynn has stated that the virus situation is currently looking good; emphasising that all elements of this pandemic are being kept under constant review.
