Covid-19 Update: Sun. 14th June 2020 – 1 Death – 8 New Cases

The total number of Covid-19 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary; as of midnight on Friday, June 12th, remains at 541, with 0 new cases identified over the previous 24-hour period of the latter date.

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that a further 1 person has sadly passed away as a result of the virus here in the Republic of Ireland, over the past 24 hours. These latest figures leave the total number of deaths caused by this pandemic currently at 1,706.

This evening, it has also been confirmed that an additional 8 new cases of the virus have been identified, bringing the total since conception, here in the Republic of Ireland, to 25,303.

There were 27 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in intensive care last night.

Healthcare workers have accounted for over 30% of all cases or 8,130.

Dublin has the highest number of cases at 12,210 (48% of all cases) followed by Cork with 1,533 cases (6%) and then Kildare with 1,432 cases (6%).
