Garda investigations are continuing, following a serious public order incident in Fethard, South, Co. Tipperary last evening, Sunday 3rd May 2020.
The incident led to a man, aged in his 20’s, being rushed to hospital with serious injuries, following an assault.
It is further understood that a woman, also aged in her 20’s, received non-life threatening injuries during the altercation.
A 20-year-old man, was arrested before being taken to Clonmel Garda Station, where he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
