It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Wednesday 11th December 2019, of Fr. Edmond O’Brien SAC, Pallottine Community, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Dundrum, Co. Dublin and ‘The Rock’, Midleton, Co. Cork.
Fr. Edmond passed away peacefully at Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his Pallottine Community; nieces; (in particular his nieces Mimi Cashman and Noelle McCarthy); nephews; grand-nephews and nieces, great-grand-nephews and nieces; extended relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Fr. Edmond will lie in repose at the Pallottine College, Kickham Street, Thurles on Sunday, December 15th, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, with Rosary and Prayers at 7.30pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, December 16th, in the Pallottine College Chapel, Thurles at 12.00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the Pallottine Community Cemetery at St. Mary’s, Cabra, Thurles.
