It is with sadness that we report the death today, Thursday 11th April 2019, of Ms Carmel Heaney, Toreen, Bohernamona, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Ms Heaney passed away peacefully, while in the wonderful care of the staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her parents Denis and Catherine, her brothers John and Eamon, sisters Breda and Mary; her passing is most deeply regretted by her sister Kitty (Bohan); nephews; nieces; grandnieces; grandnephews; sister-in-law Chris (Heaney), extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Ms Heaney will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on tomorrow evening, Friday April 12th, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday morning, April 13th, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Holycross Abbey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
