It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 16th March 2019, of Mr Jimmy Shanahan, Gurtacoola, Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Shanahan passed away while in the loving care of the Matron and Staff of Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving brothers; sisters; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Shanahan will lie in repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Upperchurch, on tomorrow evening, Monday March 18th from 5.30pm with removal at 7.00pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday morning, March 19th, at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the local cemetery.
