It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Thursday 7th February 2019, of Mrs Anastatia (Statia) Dunne (née Walton), Ardragh, Kilmanagh, Kilkenny and formerly of Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Michael; Mrs Dunne passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of Sarah and Staff at Strathmore Lodge Nursing Home, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her son John; daughters Aileen and Margaret; daughter-in-law; son-in-law; grandchildren; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Dunne will lie in repose at the residence of her son John (Ardragh, Kilmanagh) on Friday afternoon, February 8th, from 2.00pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7.00pm.
Removal to the Church of The Assumption, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, for Requiem Mass on Saturday morning, February 9th, at 11.30am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
