It was with sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 2nd January 2019, of Mrs Pauline Purcell (née Heaphy), Collins Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband John; Mrs Purcell passed away peacefully, while in the wonderful care of the staff at the Community Hospital of The Assumption, Thurles.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; daughters Helen and Cathriona; sons John and Andrew; grandchildren Laura, Daniel, Kieran, Lily, Conor, John and Emily; brother Tom (Holycross); sisters Maura (Kelly), Stella (O’Brien), Margaret (O’Meara) and Patricia (Norris); sons in law Marty and Vincent; daughters in law Una and Lorraine; nephews; nieces; sister in law Margaret; brothers in law Frances, Seanie, Eddie and Jim; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Purcell will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday evening next, January 4th, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the nearby Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh Road, Thurles at 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday morning, January 5th, at 10.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Holycross Abbey cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
