It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 4th November 2018, of Mrs Mary (May) Sheehan (née Matthews), Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Sheehan passed away peacefully at her home, while in her 92nd year.
The dearly loved and loving wife of Maurice, to whom she was married for 65 years; her passing is most deeply regretted by her grieving family; John, Máirín (Shine), Vincent, Conor, Paul and Suzanne (Martin); son-in-law Denis; daughter-in-law Jennifer; grandchildren Lisa, Fiona, Emmet, Anna, Barry, Kate, Cillian, Luke, Tara, her darling great-granddaughter Mia; also greatly missed by brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; her many nieces; nephew; extended relatives and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Sheehan will lie in repose at her home on Wednesday November 7th from 4.00pm until 7.00pm.
Removal will take place on Friday morning, November 9th, to the Church of The Assumption, Booterstown Avenue, Blackrock, to arrive for funeral Mass at 10.00am, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, 158 Harold’s Cross Rd, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W, Co. Dublin, D6W HY98
