It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, 29th October 2018, of Mr James (Jimmy) Cleary, Cabra Terrace, Stradavoher, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Waterford City, Co. Waterford.
Mr Cleary passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the wonderful care of the Staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.
Predeceased by his wife Mary, his passing is most deeply regretted by his sons Johnny (Waterford City), Tony and Paddy; daughters Margaret (Murphy, Banaher); Marian (Walsh) and Geraldine (O’Grady); grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; daughters-in-law; sons -in-law; brother-in-law Seamus (Comerford); nephews; nieces; extended relatives; Peake Villa F.C colleagues; neighbours and many good friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Cleary will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday 30th October, from 5.00pm to 7.30pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 31st at 11.00am, followed by burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.
