Death Of John Mullen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It is with deep personal regret that I report the death today, Wednesday 26th September 2018, of Mr John Mullen (former Irish Army & Thurles Credit Union), Collins Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Mullen passed away following a short illness and while in the wonderful care of the Staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, here in Thurles.

Predeceased by his wife Anne; his passing is most deeply regretted by his loving family; son Peter and daughter Deirdre; grandchildren Georgia, Lauren and Sorcha; sister Anne (Courtney, Kells); daughter-in-law Jessica; nephews; nieces; brothers-in-law John (Bourke) and Eamon (Courtney); cousins; extended relatives; former colleagues in Thurles Credit Union; the Irish Army; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Mullen will repose at Ardeen Nursing Home, Abbey Road, Thurles on Friday evening next, 28th September, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, to arrive at the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh Road, Thurles at 7.00pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday morning, September 29th, at 10.00am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
