It is with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Friday 21st September 2018, of Mrs Catherine (Kitty) Mockler (née Callanan), Smith O’Brien Street, Brittas Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her daughter Kay and sister Nora; Mrs Mockler passed away while in her 95th year.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her grandchildren Tom, Kate and Bridann; sister Annie (Stakelum); son in law P.J. (Tierney); sisters in law Peggie (Callanan) and Kitty (O’Donnell); brother in law Frank (Mockler); nephews; nieces; cousins; extended relatives; carers; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Mockler will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow Saturday, 22nd September, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 8.15pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday next September 23rd at 12.00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
