It is with great sadness that we learned of the death today Monday 25th June 2018, of Mr William (Billy) Hickey, Cummerbeg, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Hickey passed away peacefully after a short illness, while in the loving care of the Cluain Arann Community Nursing Unit, Avondale Crescent, Gortavalla, Tipperary Town.
Beloved husband of the late Bridget (Biddy) and father in law of the late Frank Quigley; the passing of Mr Hickey is most deeply regretted by his loving sons Liam, Padraig and TJ; daughters Kathleen and Breda; brothers Martin and Joe; sister Kitty; son in law; daughters in law; grandchildren; brothers in law; sisters in law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Hickey will lie in repose for Rosary at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon, Thurles, on tomorrow night Tuesday at 9.00pm. He will further repose on the following evening, Wednesday from 6.00pm with removal at 8.00pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday at 11.30pm with interment immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery, Rearcross, Co. Tipperary.
