It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 20th September 2017, of Mr Seamus Kennedy, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Friar Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Kennedy passed away peacefully in his 92nd year, following a short illness and while in the loving care of the Community Hospital of The Assumption, Thurles.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen, his passing is most deeply regretted by his daughters Eleanor (Gilman), Gayl and Michelle (Hever); sons-in-law Donal and Ronan; grandchildren Sinéad, James and Clodagh; sister Rita; brother-in-law Paddy; nieces; nephews; extended relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Kennedy will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on tomorrow evening Friday from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption on Saturday morning at 10.15am.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11.00am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
