It was with sadness we learned of the death today, Monday 26th December 2016, of Mr Willie Shanahan, Knockahorna, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Shanahan passed away while in the loving care of the Matron and Staff of the Dean Maxwell Home, Roscrea and the Oncology Unit, Limerick Regional Hospital.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his brother Tom; nephews Philip, Liam and Mossy; his close friend Catherine; extended relatives; neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Shanahan will repose at Stapleton’s Funeral Home, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary tomorrow, Tuesday 27th December, from 5.00pm with removal at 7.00pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Borrisoleigh.
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday morning, 28th December, at 11.00am followed by interment immediately afterwards in Ileigh Cemetery.
