Pensioner Dies On Tipperary Roads

An old age pensioner has died following a road traffic accident on the Gortnahoe – Ballysloe road, near Thurles in Co Tipperary.

A 78-year-old man; the sole occupant, was fatally injured when his car, left the roadway and collided with a concrete pier at approximately 11.30am this morning.
