Death Of Josephine O’Dwyer, Sean Treacy Avenue, Thurles,

DeathIt was with great personal sadness and a heavy heart that I learned of the death, today Friday 1st April 2016, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) O’Dwyer (née Kennedy), No. 19, Sean Treacy Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

A leading and active former member of Thurles Irish Country Women’s Association and pre-deceased by her daughter Marion; the passing of Mrs O’Dwyer is most deeply regretted by her loving husband George, daughters Rita, Siobhán, Geraldine and Colette, son Michael, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, relatives, Irish Country Women’s Association members and many other numerous friends, whose lives she touched with love, understanding and kindness.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs O’Dwyer will repose at her residence on Sunday April 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. Her remains will be removed to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, on Monday at 10:15 a.m.

Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. after which burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

Note: House private on Monday. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired please, to the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Castlemeadows, Thurles.
