Thurles Deaths Tuesday 22nd March 2016

O’CONNELL

It was with sadness we learned of the death, on Tuesday 22nd March 2016, of Mr Martin O’Connell, Pallas Street, Borrisoleigh / Ard Mhuire, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his wife Josephine (Bab), Mr O’Connell passed away suddenly, most deeply regretted by his loving son Tom (Joxer), his daughters Anna and Alice, sister Judy (Bracken), daughter in law Ann, brothers in law, sisters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr O’Connell will repose at the residence of his son Tom, Two Mile Borris, Thurles, today Thursday, 24th March, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Friday, 25th March, at 10:15am, followed by Funeral Litergy at 11:00am.

Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday 2nd April in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 11:00am.

MAJOR

It was with sadness we learned of the death, on Tuesday 22nd March 2016 of Mr John Major, Killeenyarda House, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Major passed away peacefully at Aut Even Hospital after a short illness. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathy, family and extended family.

Funeral Arrangements
The body of Mr Major will repose at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour, Cashel today, Thursday, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Removal will take place on Friday at 11:00am to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, arriving at 2:00pm.
