It is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 23rd October 2015, at South Tipperary General Hospital, Clonmel, of Sr. Éilís Bergin, Presentation Convent, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Castlewood, Durrow, Co.Laois.
The passing of Sr. Bergin is most deeply regretted by her Presentation Community and Congregation, her brother Donnacha (Denis), her sisters, Máirín and Geraldine (Armitage), sister-in-law Carol and brother-in-law Paddy, niece Claire and nephew Brian, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Sr. Bergin will repose in the Presentation Convent Chapel, Thurles on today Saturday and on Sunday afternoon from 2:00p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Evening prayer at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co.Laois at 11:30 a.m. on Monday for Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
