Their marriage took place in the beautiful old Cistercian Abbey of Holycross, Thurles, (Latter the favoured choice of former celebrity weddings, e.g. Dolores O’Riordan (The Cranberries) & Colette Fitzpatrick (News Anchors at TV3) to name just two.) with the ceremony conducted by close family friends Rev Fr. Joe Walsh & Rev Fr. Ollie Maher.

Escorted down the aisle by her father Paddy and her uncle Billy, the bride looked stunningly beautiful in a full length strapless, Marie McElheron bespoke sweetheart design, white wedding gown, with bodice & side decorated with minute beaded flower detail.

Equally beautiful was her Matron of Honour Gillian Neary & two accompanying Bridesmaids, Miss Sharon Ryan & Miss Aoife Leahy-McNeill, latter who all wore Magenta 50′s style, A-line gowns, highlighted by vintage jewelled accessories.

The Groom, Pat and his Best man, Mr Leonard Carey together with Groomsmen Mr John Hickey & Mr Trevor McNeill both looked dashing in black long-tailed evening suits, with Top Hats, white Wing Collared Shirts, silver & white Waistcoats, elegantly highlighted by magenta & white Cravats.

Also adding to the splendour of this occasion were Flower Girl, Miss Gemma McNeill & Page Boy, Master Callum McNeill.

The couple proclaimed their love for each other in front of over two hundred family members and close friends, with a video recording of the event undertaken by top videographer Mr Eamon Anglim.

Passages from scripture were read by Yvonne O’Brien & Will Hourihan, while Prayers of the Faithful were read by Angela McNeill, Mary Cleere, Colette Kavanagh, Sinead Stapleton, Leona McNeill, Davina Tobin, Noelle Stapleton, Lorraine Hogan, Yvonne McNeill, Brid Stapleton & Mary-Ann Kavanagh.

Offertory gifts of Bread & Wine were carried by Kathleen McNeill & Eileen Kavanagh, while James Stapleton recited the customary Communion Reflection.

Following the marriage ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs McNeill retired to that very popular wedding venue, the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny City, latter set in over 40 acres of parkland, with award-winning landscaped gardens. Here guests were met by General Manager Mr Mark Dunne & Banqueting Managers Mr Niall Dunne & Mr Peter Cullen, before being entertained to traditional punch, together with a host of other light refreshments. Pre-dinner music & vocal entertainment was provided by well known Balladeer, Mr Tomas Jackman.

Following family photographs in the magnificent nearby hotel gardens, the newly married couple joined their guests in the venues main Banqueting Suite for dinner, which was immediately followed by dancing very late into the evening.

The couple have chosen to keep their honeymoon destination a close secret for the moment, so to Tina & Pat must go all our best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous life together and our thank to you both for the most enjoyable of wedding day celebrations.
