Thurles Tipperary Fayre This Saturday

The annual Tipperary Fayre 2012, takes place on June 2nd (Saturday next) at The Source, Cathedral St, here in Thurles, running from 11:00am6:00pm. This event always brings together an amazing array of the very best in Tipperary food products & crafts, produced by local growers and native artisans.

This now annual festival offers visitors the opportunity to taste, browse and purchase food products or indeed that perfect handcrafted gift, from the huge range of exhibitor’s stalls that will line the Boardwalk.

While weather forecasters promise that the weekend will remain dry, please note that in the event of rain, all those exhibitors participating can be found under one roof, in the nearby spacious Source Art’s Gallery.

As already stated, in addition to the mouth-watering array of food on display, there will be a large number of arts and crafts stalls, including Handmade Toys, Rosies Jewellery, The Ant Team (Stationery / Cards), Donal Ryan (Woodturning), Juanita’s Bath & Body (Soaps), Tipperary Aloe Vera, BK Craft Supplies, Api’s Chocolate, Cooleeney Cheese, Duggan’s Ice Cream etc – just to name but a few.

This is a Free Family Day out with no entry charge to the event, so start off your bank holiday weekend early, with a look at all that is good & great, here in Tipperary. Try not to miss cookery demonstrations, the kid’s entertainment and much, much, much more.

Renowned TV chef and food writer Catherine Fulvio will be running a cookery demonstration beginning at 4.30pm. Tickets are only €10 and can be purchased from The Source Box office – Tel: 0504- 90204.
