Death Of Michael Bourke, Barnane, Drom, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 28th January 2023, of Mr Michael Bourke, Barnane, Drom, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Mary, brother Donal, sisters-in-law Eileen and Nuala, brother-in-law Tobias and niece Margaret; Mr Bourke passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Acorn Lodge, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his son Michael, daughters Evelyn, Doreen, Lucy, Ada and Dympna, his daughter-in-law Marisa, sons-in-law Ned, Matt, Seamus and PJ, brothers Sean, Denis and Kevin, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Louise, jack, Bill, Mary, Jane, John, Rachel, Joseph, Ruth, Tom, Faye, Paddy and Aoife, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Bourke will be received into the Church of St. Mary, Drom, Co. Tipperary at 7:00pm to arrive at 7:45 pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, January 31st, at 11:30am followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Elizabeth Johnston, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 26th January 2023, of Mrs Elizabeth Johnston, Kilmacud, Co. Dublin and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Charles; Mrs Johnston passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her three children Garrett, Colm and Cormac.

The earthly remains of Mrs Johnston will repose at Fanagan’s Funeral Home, No.5-6 Lower Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin 14 on Sunday afternoon, January 29th, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Lower Kilmacud Road, Stillorgan, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, on Monday morning, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, 158 Harold’s Cross Rd, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.

Death Of Rev. Fr. John Egan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death on Wednesday last, 25th January 2023, of Rev. Fr. John Egan, Lattin, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Lisheen Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Daniel and Alice, sisters Lena (O’Connor), Nano (Quinlan), brother-in-law Dermot and sister-in-law Mary; Fr. Egan passed away peacefully at the Bons Secours University Hospital, College Road, Cork.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving brothers Tom and Pat, sisters Mary (Earley), Anna (Bulfin), Margaret (O’Brien) and Bridget (Wall), brothers-in-law Michael, Liam, Pat and Michael, sister-in-law Peggy, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly, fellow priests of the diocese, parishioners, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Fr. Egan will repose in St. Patrick’s Church, Moneamore, Cullen, Co.Tipperary on tomorrow afternoon, Saturday January 28th 2023, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm sharp.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballynadruckilly, Lattin, Co. Tipperary on Sunday afternoon, January 29th, at 2:00pm, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the nearby Church graveyard.

Death Of Monica Lawless, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Thursday 26th January 2023, of Mrs Monica Lawless (née Tobin), Kylatlea, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her Husband Dick, son Richard and brother Sean C. Tobin; Mrs Lawless sadly passed away suddenly at her place of residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters Heather, Bernardine and Erin, son Declan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons in law, brothers Austin and Liam; sisters Maureen and Eileen, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-Law Jimmy, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, January 28th, in St. Michaels Church, Mullinahone, Thurles, at 11.30am, followed by interment in Kilvemnon Cemetery, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Betty O’Dwyer, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 24th January 2023, of Mrs Elizabeth (Betty) O’Dwyer (née Hayes), Church Road, Moneygall, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Corbally, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs O’Dwyer passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Nenagh Manor Nursing Home, Yewston, Knockanpierce, Co. Tipperary.

Beloved wife of retired Garda Michael, mother of Siobhán, Denis, Jimmy, Micheál and Brian and sister of the late Josephine, Mary, Bridget, Paddy, John and Jimmy. Sadly missed by her loving family, her grandchildren Grace, Emily, Aidan, Joe, Abbie, Robyn, Kellie, Daithi, Dara, Amy and James, sisters Ann, Margaret (Flanagan) and Kathleen (Coffey) and brother Willie (Bill), sisters-in-law Josie and Delia, daughters-in-law Aileen, Claire, Yvonne and Rachel, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Dwyer will repose at her residence in Moneygall, on Wednesday evening, January 25th, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Joseph, Moneygall, Co. Offaly, on Thursday morning to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Dunkerrin new cemetery.
