Death Of Carmen Quinn, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 31st January 2023, of Mrs Carmen Quinn (née Hodivoianu), Marlstown Manor, Brittas Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Agros village, Pitsilia, southwest Cyprus.

Pre-deceased by her father Tudor (Hodivoianu) and father-in-law Liam (Quinn, Gortnagow House, Holycross, Thurles); Mrs Quinn passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Milford Care Centre.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Martin, sons Eddie and Billy, mother Maria, sisters Lizi and Nicoleta, mother-in-law Maire, nieces, nephews especially Richard, Dana and Andrei, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, work colleagues at Parkers Restaurant, Holycross, Thurles and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Quinn will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow evening, Thursday, February 2nd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, on Friday morning, February 3rd, at 9.30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by a private family cremation service.

Death Of Chrissie Carr, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Tuesday 31st January 2023, of Mrs Christina (Chrissie) Carr (née Ryan), Knockmaroe, Milestone, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Edmond; Mrs Carr passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her heartbroken family; sons Tom, Matthew, Edward, Andrew,and Oliver, daughter Siobhán, adored grandchildren Christine, Katie, Eimear,, Killian, Lisa, Eamon, Emma, Ronan, Ciara, Anna, Aisling and Aidan, great-grandchild Mikey, daughters-in-law Martina, Catherine, June, Clara and Aoibheann, brothers-in-law Packie and Bernard, sisters-in-law Sr. Mary and Sr. Bridget, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Carr will repose on Thursday evening, February 2nd next at J & S McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Patrick, Kilcommon Cross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning, February 3rd, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the nearby New Cemetery, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Thursday 15th December 2022, of Mr Ned Ryan, Perth, Western Australia and formerly of Glenaneigh, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary.

A Memorial Mass will now be held in the Church of Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary, on Saturday evening next, February 4th, at 6:30 pm.

Death Of Ann Coughlan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Monday 30th January 2023, of Ms Ann Coughlan, Killeen, Kilcrohane, Co. Cork and formerly of Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her brothers Timmy, Jerry and Paddy; Ms Coughlan passed away peacefully, while in the care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital, No.9 & No.10 Rock Steps, Carrignagat, Co. Cork.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and very sadly missed by her loving sister Mary (Pollard), brother-in-law Tommy, her nephews, nieces and their families, extended relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Ms Coughlan will repose at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Carrignagat, Chapel Street, Bantry, Co. Cork, on Tuesday evening January 31st, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, with vigil prayers at 7:30pm.
Her remains will further repose for Requiem Mass at Star of the Sea Church, Church View, Kilcrohane, Co. Cork, on Wednesday afternoon, February 1st, at 2:30pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Kilcrohane Cemetery, Co. Cork.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Monday 30th January 2023, of Mrs Mary Webster (née Brolan), Chez Nous, Bohernamona, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her brothers and sister Kitty (Sheehy); Mrs Webster passed away unexpectedly at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her devoted husband Paddy, daughter Ann, grand-daughter Lauren and Lauren’s husband Shane, grandson Kevin, brothers Tommy, Stephen and Phil, sisters Eileen (Sorohan) and Ann (O’Rourke), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Thursday morning, February 2nd, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
