It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 2nd February 2023, of Mr Gerald Maher, Tinnock, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his wife Nancy and his daughter Pascaline; Mr Maher passed away peacefully, in his 91st year, in Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his children Noreen, Geraldine, Pauline, Deirdre, Aine, Aileen, Damien and Patrick, sons-in-law Tom, Gerry, Marcus, Jimmy, Seamus and Danny, daughter-in-law Nan, grandchildren David, Paul, Maria, Conor, Aodhan, Dylan, Leah, Ava, Breandan, Luke, Aaron, Blaithin, Jake, Ryan, Mark and Lara, his brother Liam, extended family, relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Maher will repose at Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry Upper, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Sunday evening, February 5th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry (SR) on Monday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday, 3rd February 2023, of Mr Paul Leahy, Ballylahy, Castleiney, Templemore, Co. Tipperary and Cluain Glas, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Pre-deceased by his father Matt and sister Breda, the passing of Mr Leahy is most deeply regretted by his mother Carmel, his sisters Rita (Kiely), Patricia, Carmel (Leonard), brothers-in-law Joe and Gary, nephew Matthew, niece Rachel, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Leahy will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Church Lane, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary at 8:00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Sunday morning, February 5th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Templeree Cemetery.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 29th January last 2023, of Mrs Elizabeth (Daisy) Looney (née Shanahan), Kilmacud, Co. Dublin; formerly Rathcoole, Co. Dublin; Birr, Co. Offaly and Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Looney passed away peacefully, while in the care of St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
The passing of Mrs Looney is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Denis, children Ailish and Denise, sons-in-law Andy and Stuart, grandchildren Henry, Seamus, Róisín, Moira and Fiona, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 31st January 2023, of Mrs Imelda Kenny (née Hayes), Pallas Street, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her loving husband Phibbie and her brother Brendan; Mrs Kenny passed away after a short illness, while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Clonmel Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughter Martina, son Philip, grandchildren Kevin, Gina, Conor, Niall and their respective partners Fiona, Sean, Fiona, Lorna, her six great-grandchildren, sisters Dympna and Collette, sister-in-law Clare, son-in-law Eamon, daughter-in-law Kathryn, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.
