Death Of Joan Kirby, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today, Thursday 16th February 2023, of Mrs Joan Kirby (née Minogue), Butler Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Alice and Patrick, husband William, brothers John, Patrick and James; Mrs Kirby passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Mercy University Hospital, Grenville Place, Cork.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughter Bríd, sister Margaret, son-in-law Niall, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Kathleen, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Kirby will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday afternoon, February 18th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Sunday morning, February 19th at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Eddie Commins, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday February 15th. 2023, of Mr Edward (Eddie, Eamon) Commins, Castleknock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brothers John and Brendan; Mr Commins passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, while in the care of staff at Beaumont Hospital, Beaumont Road, Beaumont, Dublin .

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Eithne, children Keith, Justin, Liam and Corey, grandchildren Leia, Stanley, Lykke and Miles brothers Joe, Vincent, Paul, sisters Carmel, Joan, Una, Teresa, Geraldine and Dolores, daughter-in-law Elina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbour sand friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Commins will repose at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown, Dublin, on Sunday afternoon, February 19th, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Beechpark Lawn, Castleknock, Dublin 15, on Monday morning, February 20th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium, Finglas Road, Glasnevin, Dublin D11.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday February 15th. 2023, of Mrs Annie Cahill (née Cormack), Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Mick, brothers Jimmy and Eddie, sisters Josie, Peg and Maureen; Mrs Cahill passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family Walter, Eamonn, Gerard, Michael, Mary, P.J., Kevin and Patrica, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Caoimhe, Iona, Ross, Jack, Orla and Michael, sisters Bridget, Sr. Theresa and Kitty, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe, Thurles, on Friday morning, February 17th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 13th February 2023, of Mrs Madeline Delahunty (née Shanahan), Dromboe, Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Mike, brothers Billy and Michael; her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughter Shelly, sons Adrian and his wife Bridget, Brian and his partner Sarah, her granddaughter Méabh, grandsons Michéal and Feidhlin, great-grandson Logan, sister Claire Ryan (Coolquill), brother Ned Shanahan (Athlone), sisters-in-law Marguerite and Helen, brother-in-law Tom, her nieces, nephews, cousin Michael Shanahan, extended relatives, friends and neighbours.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning, February 17th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby St. Peter’s cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 11th February 2023, of Mr Simon (Sam) Guilfoyle, Fennor, Urlingford, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Josephine and sister Nelly (Barry); Mr Guilfoyle passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at University Hospital Clonmel, South Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving sons; Conor, Noel, Colm and Aidan, brother Pat, brother-in-law Bill, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a wide circle of friends.
