Death Of Bill Tuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, Saturday 7th May 2023, of Mr Bill (William) Tuohy, Cabra, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Margaret (Maggie) and brother John; Mr Tuohy passed away peacefully, while in his 88th year of age.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving family; sons Willie, John Joe, Michael and Eamon, daughter Catherine, grandchildren Aisling, Sinead, Alyssa and Jasper, daughters-in-law Caroline and Olga, son-in-law Joseph, sister Molsey (Ryan), sisters-in-law Biddie and Josie, brothers-in-law Liam, Johnsie and Ned, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, the greyhound community and many friends both in Ireland and abroad.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Tuohy will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday afternoon, May 9th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Abbey at Holycross Thurles, on Wednesday morning, May 10th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Bridget Cleere, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 6th May 2023, of Mrs Bridget Cleere (née Stokes), Kyleballygalvin, The Commons, Thurles Co. Tipperary,

Pre-deceased by her parents John and Kitty, also her brother John; Mrs Cleere passed away peacefully at University Hospital Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness bravely borne.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Paul, daughters Shauna and Siobhan, their partners Darren and Jason, grandchildren Tristan, Cillian, Darragh, Tiffany and Thady, sisters Catherine and Nellie, brothers George, Jim and Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Cleere will repose at her residence on Monday afternoon from 5:00pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption Ballingarry South Riding, Thurles, on Tuesday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Boulick Cemetery, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Breeda Maher, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 6th May 2023, of Mrs Breeda Maher (née Ryan Corcoran), Castlefogarty, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Annacarty, Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Joe; Mrs Maher passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, while in the care of staff at South Tipperary General Hospital.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her son Michael, daughters Mary Maher (Thurles), Sadie Mulvany, (Newbridge), Bernie Maher Owens (Roosky) and Marcella Maher Keogh (Loughmore), sons-in-law William, Mark, Eamonn and Martin, daughter-in-law Mary (Treacy), sisters Ena Ryan Bawn, (Cappawhite), Rea Crosbie (New Ross), grandchildren Katie, Clodagh, Enda, Sinead, Charlie and Harry, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many close friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Cataldus, Moneydass, Ballycahill, Thurles on Tuesday morning to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in Old Inch Cemetery, Inch Lane, Magherareagh, Bouladuff, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 5th May 2023 of Mr Patrick (Paddy) Ryan (Coole), Curreeny Cross, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Matt and Mary, baby brother Martin; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully, at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Mai, daughter Cora and son Páidi, brothers Noel, Mattie, his twin Dinny, Phil and Tommy, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Death Of George Doherty, Formerly Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 2nd May 2023, of Mr George Doherty, Clonshaugh, Co. Dublin; and formerly of Sandymount, Co. Dublin and Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his sons John-Paul, Joseph and baby Thomas, his brothers Davy and Tony and sister Frances; Mr Doherty passed away peacefully, at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving partner May, children Christine, David, Kevin, Janet, Kev, Pauline and Ciara, sons-in-law Dicky, David and Vinny, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of St. Brendan, No.5 Coolock Village, Kilmore, Dublin 5, on Friday morning, May 5th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Rd, Dardistown, Co. Dublin.
