It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 26th January 2024 of Mrs Bridget Murphy (née Ely) No 1 Iona Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her loving husband Michael, her parents, brothers and sisters; her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sons Paul, Aidan and Michael, daughters Fiona and Ciara, grandchildren, sons-in-law Thomas and Mark, daughters-in-law Valerie, Tracy and Breda, brother Billy, sisters Nell and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Murphy will repose at Dan Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles (Eircode E41 XY47) on Sunday afternoon, January 28th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. Her funeral cortège will be received into the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bohernanave, Thurles, on Monday morning, January 29th, at 9:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 24th January 2024, of Mr Denis Treacy, (ex Eircom), Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Cloone, Loughmoe East, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his mother Lil and father Denis (Senior); Mr Treacy passed away peacefully, following a short illness, same borne with great dignity and courage, while in the care of staff on the Palliative Team at the Beacon Hospital.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family; his loving wife Mary T, daughter Louise, son Kevin and partner Leona, brothers Jim (Dublin) Tom and Gerard (Tipperary), brother in law Padraic Conwell (Foxford), sisters in law Patricia, Pauline and Cora Treacy, Patricia and Sheila, nieces Ciara, Orlaith, Tara, Emer, Fiona, Annette, Sinead and Aine, nephews Alan, Gearoid, Seamus, Patrick and Martin, cousins, Jim and Ann Brady, aunt Nancy, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Dublin.

Pre-deceased by his parents, Liam and Cáit, sisters Mairéad and Brede, and his nephew Jeremy; Mr O’Donoghue (ex. Bank of Ireland) passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Glebe House Nursing Home, Kilternan, Co. Dublin.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family; wife Louie, sons Liam and Barry, grandchildren Naomi, Lauren, Ruairí, Doireann and Veer, daughters in law Emma and Shalini, his brothers and sisters Denis, Cáit, Liam, Gearoíd and Róisín, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 22nd January 2024 of Mr James (Jimmy) Gleeson, Drangan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
In his 91st year, and pre-deceased by his loving wife May (Mullane), recently deceased son Pat, brothers Fr. John and Paddy, sisters Josephine and Bridget; Mr Gleeson passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Ballykelly, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons James and John, daughters Mary Rita (Brennan), Ann (Broderick), Rosarii (Hourigan), sons-in-law Liam, Micheál and James, daughters-in-law Nicola, Maeve and Helen, adored grandchildren Stuart, Jamie, Jack, Conor, Danny, Enya, Lucy, Éabha, Ellie-May, Síofra, Sarah, Sophie, Jim and May, great-granddaughter Lily, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
